Results of the Retrospective Evaluation of the NCR-SARE Research & Education Grant Program are now available online.

Barbara Norman, a third generation farmer on her blueberry farm in Van Buren County, MI, has been awarded the North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program’s (NCR-SARE) first ever Diversity Grant for $100,000.


Take a look Deborah Cavanaugh-Grant's publication, Reaping the Rewards of Our SARE Investment. The goal of this publication is to share the innovative work that Illinois NCR-SARE recipients have done over the years- answering the "so what?" question. Cavanaugh-Grant is the SARE Illinois State Coordinantor.


We are pleased to announce an NCR-SARE web page with information en Español.


Take a look at a curriculum that has been developed for high school students, called "Toward a Sustainable Agriculture" . This curriculum was funded in part by a grant from NCR-SARE.
