FARMDATA is an online database system for inputting and reporting crop production records, particularly for organic vegetable growers. This system includes production records such as seeding, transplanting, harvest, cover crop, compost, fertilization, irrigation, pest scouting, spray activities, packing and distribution records and customer invoicing. The FARMDATA portal, accessible by both smartphone and desktop computer, uses "smart" forms that minimize incorrect records while saving time by making calculations and remembering important data such as field sizes, spray and seeding rates.
Visit the FARMDATA website to learn more about its use and to download the program. FARMDATA was developed at Dickinson College.
